Update to Opt-In checkbox settings

'As a system administrator for UnionCloud, I should be able to set opt in/out settings in a legally compliant way'.

To improve our compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and PECR (Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations) we have updated the way the default opt in/opt out checkboxes are displayed.

• This issue has been resolved.

Preferred email address is mandatory
Preferred email address has been updated to a mandatory field at the point of user activation, this is because users who register as a student, clearly have a limited tenure as students, after which their email address becomes inactive. At this point they have no method of resetting a password if locked out.

Groups Widget Update
New groups widget had an issue where if the backspace key was pressed while the text field was empty, site would generate a pop up error message.
