Archive Functionality

As part of this work we have moved towards including an archiving function for all aspects of the UnionCloud platform, similar to the way we had already implemented Current/Past tabs for Events, and Current/Past tabs for Campaigns, as part of this work we have implemented the following;
E-Shop

  • Products now has two tabs: Current and Archived
  • Orders now has two tabs : To be dispatched, Actioned
  • Category Discount has two tabs: Ongoing & Future Discounts, and Past Discounts

Democracy

  • Elections now has two tabs: Current and Past
  • Referenda now has two tabs: Current and Past
  • Ideas and Petitions now has two tabs: Current and Past

Groups

  • We changed the format of Groups, from being listed in the left hand Navigation, to Tabs along the top in line with formatting elsewhere.

Volunteering

  • This has been postponed for a later release.

Box for Union to add a Final Response to an Idea/Petition

Idea/Petition Final Response

Having noticed that this is something other unions are doing manually, by editing an idea at the end of the allotted time to post a response, and following some queries about it on GetSatisfaction, we have now implemented the ability for a Union to deliver a final response at the end of an Idea or Petition, as a verdict or to inform users about the outcome.
This is facilitated by an extra box when editing an Idea / Petition.

Group Administrator Permissions Issue

Issue presented whereby if you turn off 'Update Group' permission, on the group admin dashboard it removes the box with the icon and button to view membership details, even though the group still has permissions to do this.

UI Group Search Filter Issue

Issue presented whereby if you type anything into the 'group type' filter box on the all groups page, it doesn't seem to search to the term correctly, and also expands the admin menu as well as the groups one on the left hand navigation.

For example, if you search for 'club' in the box on our site, it will still show the societies as well as the sports clubs, even though 'club' isn't in their category name (see attached screenshot). Typing 'campus' for our campus leagues returns everything, which it didn't do in the past.
