Volunteering

  • Enable volunteers to add text evidence for skills they claim to have on their profile with attachment feature for selected skill.
  • Enable volunteers to record skills gained as part of time banking now. (To be used for HEAR like report of volunteering work)
  • Enable admin to verify the text and supporting evident submitted by the volunteer during enrollment.

Awards System for Volunteers

  • Ability for admin to create awards for volunteering based on the hours logged under different opportunities and students able to see those awards under their 'My Profile'.

Volunteering Skills record document

  • Ability for the student to download a file comprising;
  • The skills gained under various opportunities the studend is involved in to date
  • The volunteering awards won by the student to date
  • The details of training events attended by the student.

Student Activity Report

A report generated for each student comprising the historical activities performed by the student on the Union Cloud platform, the report consists of details from up to 7 modules associated with UnionCloud. The same details are also shown in a grid under user account details for each student.

Tribing

Enable the NUS admin to set up questions and configure tribes using the rule builder. The tribes are available at union level, and on activation are visible as part of the student registration form. Based on the answers given by the student he/she is allocated to a specific tribe and the same is visible under their 'My Profile'.

Student Voice Update

  • Ability for admin to restrict the actiosn performed by the student on Student Voice. Actions such as Like/Dislike/Signing a petition/Comment can now be restricted to specific user groups through configuration at admin level.

Customising system generated emails

For now

  • Event Booking Confirmation Email

These emails can now be customised in the Setup section of the Admin menu, in the UC Dashboard

Course Rep CSV Upload

Include 'All' category default at the top in list of Group Types.

Ability to use a filter criteria for referendums

  • Dynamic filter added to include referenda vote, meaning admin can filter by users who voted Yes / No.

Ability for admin to drag & drop multiple images

Set Publish date for events

Devised so that your events don't go live as soon as you create them, for unions that have requested the ability to set up events in advance without the ability for users to find them using search.

Technical User Stories

  • Eliminate render-blocking JS and CSS in above-the-fold content to improve the browser load time.
  • Set expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from Local Disk rather than Network.
  • Improvement to SOAP API for importing students to reduce load on system during scheduled API Calls
