Liquid Variables in Campaign Manager
This item was held back from the sprint on 6th November due to a defect, fixed below
Within Campaign Manager, UnionCloud now gives unions the ability to include Liquid Variable in Campaign emails, as per the screenshot that can be seen to the right, we have included the variables {{user_forename}}, and {{user_surname}} in the message, you aren't necessarily required to include these in the emails, but below the WYSIWYG editor it lists fields that can be included. This works in a similar way to how it works in the Customizable Emails from the Messages & Emails section of Setup. It will replace the liquid variable with the correct information for the user the email is sent to.

Campaign Emails Not Triggering
Since implementing Liquid Variable functionality on 6th November patch Campaign Emails were not being triggered when the Campaign had a high number of users in the target audience. In Send Grid error log it was returning (550) Error reading data, max message size exceeded due to the extra data being included in the message batches being sent to send grid, and it exceeding the size limits, it was dropping a large number of emails. As soon as this was spotted we rolled back the implementation of liquid variables, manually fixed the issues with the small number of campaigns that had been sent out and developed a fix for the message batch sizes.

Error with Volunteering Registration
After completing the volunteering profile form if user clicks brower back button and tries to submit again, system does not allow to proceed as profile is already completed. Now disabled clicking browser back button.

Union Logo not appearing in Campaigns
Union logo not appearing in emails due to an issue injected as part of refactoring, the issue affected the following 4 email types;
- Student registration email(Activation email through upload)
- Volunteering organisation: volunteer user’s approval email which sends to volunteer user after admin approves user account
- Campaigns : Campaign mails send to user
- Connect : email when admin rejects approval of connect user
All other emails were unaffected, and this didn't affect unions who didn't use the 'Default Union Header' in Campaigns and instead used their own custom content.

Mobile/Tablet Preview Issue
Mobile, Desktop and Tablet preview not working on non-bilingual unions. For some browsers this would appear as a blank page, some it would appear without the device templates, and others would show all previews the same size.

While saving student my profile page, Mandatory questions are not highlighted if they are not answered, this created a UX issue.

When a user clicks cancel button on campaign edit page, user is redirected to Union past campaign instead of Union Pending campaign page.
